Student Sex Discrimination

Student Sex Discrimination and Harassment

The Office of Institutional Equity is responsible for reviewing and, where appropriate, objectively investigating complaints of discrimination and harassment in accordance with the Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy.

Where investigations establish discrimination or harassment, actions are taken to remediate the impact of discriminatory conduct. OIE also objectively addresses and investigates complaints of sex discrimination and sexual harassment (including sexual misconduct) against students.

The Office of Institutional Equity works in collaboration with the Dean of Students Office to take prompt and appropriate action to investigate student behavior that may violate the Nondiscrimination and Anti-harassment Policy and/or related provisions of the Arizona Board of Regents Student Code of Conduct, including sex discrimination cases that are not within Title IX jurisdiction.
